So my Patreon was leaked a year ago. But I was a smart cookie and all my content is in google drives. I renamed every google drive to “if you request access I will sign you up for spam emails” and sure enough folks still request access and the Harris Walz campaign has a lot of new supporters who are interested in info on how they can support. He gets sent to an island under Marine control, thats also a mining colony. He is assumed to be a miner and is treated as such. Maybe he's unconscious and only has the medicine a poor family on the island can afford and stays asleep for a long time. When he wakes up, he sees the 2D2Y message and decides to stay put and help these people until it's time to go back to Luffy. So during the day, he works in the mines and uses his legs instead of a pickaxe (earning the black leg epithet) .

But when he wakes up, he realizes the rations the people are given by the marines are just enough to give them strength to work, but they're low quality and keep them too tired to revolt. So after work, he learns to make strengthening food and helping them prepare to revolt, which he does just in time to get back to Luffy on the first ship out of town. Thats why he was the 7th person to show up on Sabaody.

I know this is a few days late I wanted to do this on the 1st but Happy Black History Month!!! even though black history should be celebrated everyday and at anytime. Know the history of not just white people, black people were and are inventors, activists, musicians, writers, scientists and so much more..we did everything that needs to be acknowledged too. Love my fellow brothers and sisters, yes I'm mixed but I'm accountable of knowing both halves of my history and I hold myself accountable to share and acknowledge the one they try to erase.

what if the world supported a kinder framework where listening well was important before the doing of things?

Today (which will be days ago by the time this posts) was one for long stretches of s o l i t u d e to recharge. As often happens on these days, I went down some rabbit holes. Found this unassuming interview of Ben from Dec 2022 and found it encouraging, particularly from 9:00 minutes to 15:00 (the end).

In these last few months before the next US Presidential election, I am choosing to focus on, invest in, imagine, hold space for envisioning how it will be to have a female President. Not that everything will be All Better Now (it won’t be, not hardly), h o w e v e r, it WILL be different!

And, I for one, am ready for different.

Not a female separatist but I'm forever grateful to them for introducing the idea of just centring women in our lives. Focusing on women artists, scientists, writers, showrunners, businessowners... and where we don't see women in those positions, asking why, and what can we do to help. Focusing on female friends and female family. Building relations and community among women to help women. Spending your $$ money $$ on women. You don't need to be a full separatist to incorporate this into your life, and imagine what women could accomplish if we just decided to focus on uplifting women as a class.
